This piece was produced sometime in the 1940's to very early '50's.  Its spartan design is no doubt military inspired.

The WW2 military style 'saucer' bezel case measures 31mm across and is made of solid stainless steel.  The deep threaded stainless screw back/gasket was used for their military watches to help with water resistance.

Filled hands really pop against the tropic dial.  The dial is seasoned with 80yrs of use and very legible.  All is protected by a new high polished crystal.

Attached is brand new durable leather strap.  I use the same bands on my own pieces, very comfortable.

The 17 Jewel, shock protected, Swiss movement has been overhauled.  I completely tore it down, cleaned and rebuilt it using high grade Swiss synthetic oils & greases.  Doesn't get much better!

Measures: 31mm across minus the winding crown.
